Mornington Peninsula Badminton Club coaches have a strong passion and commitment to deliver fun sessions that help develop the game style you want to play. All our Club Coaches are registered with Badminton Australia and hold current Working With Children Checks.

 
 

Meet Brian

Brian started playing badminton in the United Kingdom at the age of five. He loves to play a lot of tournaments regularly to boost up his confidence level and skill.


Meet David

David started playing badminton in St Andrew’s Church Hall in 1961.
He has won seven silver and one gold in Veteran’s World Masters Games in Sydney.


Meet Elvina

Elvina started playing badminton when she was in grade 9 of high school. Back then it was a fun activity for an after school class and she had never anticipated on liking the sport this much!


Meet James

James started playing social badminton in December 2021 with a group of his high school friends. James now volunteers in the operational decision making as the Club’s Secretary.


MEET Matt

Matt started playing badminton in 2012 at South Eastern Badminton Association and then played at Mornington on and off. He loves to see his students improve in the sport.


MEET RUDY

I first found my love for the sport back in Year 9 when I would play casually with friends and family.  


MEET SEAN

Sean started playing badminton in December 2020 at Somerville Recreation Centre.
He also plays competitive badminton as well as social on Saturdays and Thursdays.


MEET SUSAN

Susan started playing badminton in Shanghai, China when she was just 7 years old. At Peninsula Grammar School, she was honoured to serve as the Vice Badminton Captain.
